Emma Watson Dazzles in New Lancôme Commercial

Adorable actress Emma Watson isn't quite done with magic even though she's wrapped up the Harry Potter films—but this time the magic comes in a different form.

"You never know what's going to be around the corner," the actress says in a new, behind-the-scenes video of her Lanc?me fragrance ad. "That's what we wanted to get across in the fragrance: that life is magical with little surprises."

The ad for the perfume centers around a love story between Watson and male model Cyril Descours. Em explains: "I think all of the Lanc?me fragrances have kind of a theme of romance to them in some way. I wanted there to be a sense of optimism and fun and a sense of youthful energy and positivity. What I love about this story that we put together is that it's almost fate, like chance, that brings the two of them together."

Filmed by Mario Testino in the Hotel Crillon in Paris, the campaign is set to air later this year.

Not that we're biased or anything (we are), but Emma looks flirty, gorgeous and so natural!

See Kate Middleton's Royal Wedding Dress Up Close!

If you happen to be heading to Buckingham Palace sometime between tomorrow and October, well, you're in luck.

That's because, beginning this Saturday, the stunning lace, ivory and satin wedding gown that Kate Middleton wore when she exchanged vows with Prince William in April will be on display there.

Not surprisingly, the demand for tickets to tour the Palace has increased dramatically over last year in light of the news that several items from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's big day would be showcased.

So what else will folks get to see?

In addition to Kate's gown, which was designed by Sarah Burton, the creative director of British fashion house Alexander McQueen, the exhibit will include the Cartier tiara that Queen Elizabeth II loaned the bride as well as the ivory satin heels Kate walked down the aisle in.

Kate's teardrop diamond earrings, which were a personal gift from her parents, will also be featured.

There's also the couple's tiered wedding cake for people to check out as well, sans the top three tiers.

Meanwhile, both Kate and the queen are expected to get a sneak preview of it all today.

Will Amy Winehouse's Fashion Line Continue Without Her?

Turns out, Amy Winehouse's posthumous back catalog contains more than just her musical contributions.

Last year, the late singer began collaborating with designer Fred Perry on a fashion line, with her debut collection hitting stores last fall. As it happens, Amy, who's said to have been quite involved in the creation of her capsule collection, went through something of a prolific sartorial phase and in fact had banked enough designs to carry her namesake line through to a fall 2012 collection with the brand.

So what's going to happen to her catwalk creations?

For now, nothing.

"We had a great working and personal relationship with Amy during the design and development of the collaboration," a statement released by the British label, which has already released two collections under the Grammy winner's name, said today.

"Amy's unique sense of style and attitude pervaded the entire collection. She was a pleasure to work with and will be deeply missed by the entire Fred Perry team."

Last fall, Winehouse discussed the fashion collaboration (some styles are still available online, but selling out quickly) with Harper's Bazaar, and told the magazine that she had clear ideas straight away as to what the line should contain.

"I knew exactly what I wanted," she said. "And I love Fred Perry so much. I was honored that they would even, like, 'Do you want to come and do a line?' Me? Like, me?"

She also noted that she was focused from the get-go on carrying out her vision.

"Ve'y much so. Ve'y much so. And that's been the whole thing. We've pretty much done like up to autumn/winter 2012, and I'm like, 'Have we?' Yeah!"

It remains unclear if the company will release the collections they have banked, though a spokesperson told Britain's Daily Telegraph that they would wait to speak to the Winehouse family before making any announcements and would abide by their wishes.

Julia Roberts and Christy Turlington Ads Deemed Overly Photoshopped, Banned in Britain

Maybe she's born with it? More like, maybe she has a team of professional makeup artists, industrial-grade lighting, a team of qualified Photoshoppers, and an airbrush specialist.

At least, that's the case with Julia Roberts and Christy Turlington, whose makeup ads—for Lanc?me and Maybelline, respectively—have been banned in the U.K. over complaints that the images projected in the campaigns were unrealistic and misleading.

In related news, the world continues to spin on its axis.

L'Oréal Ltd., which owns both beauty brands, has been forced to pull the ads featuring the apparently less-pretty-than-projected woman and the supermodel after the U.K.'s Advertising Standards Authority upheld complaints brought by MP Jo Swinson claiming that the images were overly airbrushed, otherwise manipulated, and "not representative of the results the product could achieve."

The images in question came from Roberts' two-page spread for Lanc?me's Teint Miracle foundation, shot, as it happens, by Mario Testino, and Turlington's campaign for Maybelline's The Eraser foundation.

The ASA ruled that images of both breached the advertising standards code by exaggerating the effects of their products and by generally being misleading to consumers. As a result, both have been banned from future publication across the pond.

On Roberts' ad, Swinson challenged the company's claims that the foundation gave the appearance of skin with a "natural light," glowing from within. She said the image was more likely the result of digital manipulation…and the ASA, obviously, agreed.

Lanc?me responded to the claims, saying that Testino is known for his flattering photos, and Julia is known for her glowing skin, but admitted that the image was attained by using "a soft focus and lower resolution" and was intended to be an image of "aspiration."

Plus, "consideration should also be given to the fact the image was in the context of an ad for foundation, a product which was designed to cover skin flaws and imperfections."

Cover skin flaws and imperfections, but not, apparently, the company's tracks.

For their part, the ASA conceded that, yes, Julia's a looker, it's a makeup ad and Testino is at the top of his game for a reason, but that just wasn't good enough.

"In addition to the factors above, the image was produced with the assistance of post-production techniques…on the basis of the evidence we had received, we could not conclude that the ad image accurately illustrated what effect the product could achieve, and that the image had not been exaggerated by digital post-production techniques. We therefore concluded that the ad was misleading," they said in their ruling.

Likewise went the ruling on Turlington's ad, as the ASA said it was simply not provided with enough information to determine what impact was made by lighting and makeup and which were achieved by digital enhancements.

So that fakery has been banned, too. Now that's a beautiful thing.

Of course, that's probably a safe thing to say seeing what the pop star opted to wear for the New York City premiere of The Smurfs at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Sunday.

As most know by now, it's Perry who moviegoers will hear whenever Smurfette opens her mouth in the upcoming family flick.

But it wasn't just the dress that proved Perry was in the Smurf spirit. The newly blonde singer complemented it with both blue eyeshadow and high-heels as well as featuring some of the other characters on her fingernails.

Can we just say that we find your little foray into men's fashion amusing, Kell? It's kind of strange seeing as you really shouldn't be wearing any clothes at all. But we'll wait for Heidi Klum to throw in her two cents.

Lady Gaga's Meat Dress Follow-Up: A Bag of Bones?

Lady Gaga doesn't have to look too far to top the infamous meat dress she wore last year to MTV's Video Music Awards.

Another outrageous getup has already been designed for her.

PigofTheMonth.com, an internet retailer of barbeque meats and sauces, has offered Gaga a whopping $500,000 to wear a yet-to-be-seen bone dress to the VMAs.

The Ohio-based company claims they have teamed up with a well-known fashion designer who has shown in New York, London and Paris to cook up the one-of-a-kind creation. Plans would also include using gourmet barbeque sauces accessories and makeup.

"We won't reveal the number of bones that it includes just yet," PigofTheMonth CEO Lea Richards tells me. However, she said it weighs about twelve pounds.

"[Gaga] would still be able to move in a normal fashion," Richards explained.

No doubt this is a quite an imaginative marketing scheme, but the dress will also be auctioned off to benefit Bones for Hunger, PigofTheMonth's soon-to-be launched financial assistance program for struggling artists.

The VMAs will be handed out on Aug. 28 in Los Angeles.

No word yet from Gaga's camp. However, if she passes, the meat company will try to incorporate the dress into New York's next Fashion Week.

"The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward."

The father of four's undies will hit store shelves in early February—just in time for Valentine's Day.

If Kate Middleton's new bling looks familiar to you, that's because you've probably seen it before on another set of regal lobes.

The royal also known as Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been sporting a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings that belonged to the late Princess Diana.

"Now that they're married, [Prince] William wanted her to have some of his mother's favourite pieces," a courtier told the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

Of course, this isn't the first heirloom that Wills has given his ladylove. He popped the question last year with his mother's sapphire and diamond engagement ring last year.

Alexander McQueen Left His Dogs How Much Money?!

It looks like a good chunk of Alexander McQueen's estate has literally gone to the dogs.

The high-end fashion designer, who committed suicide last year, did not forget about his furry friends, Minter, Juice and Callum when preparing his will.

So how just much did they get?

According to the BBC, McQueen left ￡50,000, which in American dollars would be just short of $82,000.

McQueen wanted to make sure that his three dogs would be pampered for the rest of their lives. The designer had told Arena Homme+ magazine in a 2009 article featuring his canine pack, "My dogs are the only thing in the world I really trust."

But it wasn't just his pets that he cared about.

He also gave four charities ￡100,000 (about $164,000) each, two of which include Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and the Blue Cross animal welfare charity.

The money was "a lovely surprise" from "a devoted animal lover" and supporter of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Spencer Wisdom, the center's legacy manager, told the BBC.

Blue Cross' chief executive Kim Hamilton also told BBC that McQueen's donation was "a touching tribute" which highlighted his "obvious love for his dogs."

Project Runway Premiere: Is There a Scandal Brewing Already?!

After about a month of looking at Heidi Klum's naked body in promos, the ninth season of Project Runway is here!

The show starts off with 20 contestants and right away sent four of them packing, leaving 16 interesting characters to continue with the series.

One newbie stood out the most, not only because she is a new competitor on the new season, but because she's new to the whole sewing game!

When showing some of her work, Anya from Trinidad got some skeptical reviews from the judges when she shared that she received some help with her stitching and had learned how to sew only four months prior.

"I'm horrified. You are, handicapped, in a matter of speaking, by not having the sewing skills to execute the work," Tim Gunn told her.

Well, we found out for sure after the first challenge, which was titled "Come as you are" and had contestants brightly awakened at 5 a.m. by Mr. Sunshine himself, Gunn, who instructed them to stay in their pajamas and bring a bed sheet.

Totally weird, right? Well here's the catch...

These were the only materials they had to work with in making their garments (good thing no one slept naked).

We were anticipating to see Anya break down and crumble since her alleged accomplice was no where to be found, but the girl really wowed us.

Using her "kimono-esque" night gown and bed sheet, she made a two-piece outfit that consisted of a small wrapped halter top and draped pants.

Mind you, the girl had never sewn pants or silk material, draped, or dyed fabric, and yet she ended up being one of the top three chosen by the judging panel (which included Christina Ricci this week)!

Nina Garcia called her work "extraordinary," while Klum kept it simple by saying, "I'm happy to see you can sew."

Whether it's beginner's luck or sheer natural talent, we won't find out until we see her creations in upcoming challenges.

Katy Perry is no doubt breathing a sigh of relief.

The "Firework" singer shocked—shocked!— us last month when she went from brunette to redhead, a change the pop princess later admitted was not at all intentional.

"So I didn't get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long!," she tweeted at the time. "2get to goal I have 2b GINGER for 3WKS."

Well, fast forward to yesterday, when Perry revealed during an interview with MTV (after nabbing nine VMA nods) the very color she had actually been striving for all along.
